New parent educators are required to complete a FVC during the first year. During the FVC, the parent education consultant observes the delivery of a family visit, consults with the parent educator; highlighting strengths, and providing suggestions for implementing the Foundational Curricula.

Parents as Teachers National Center curriculum training along with the FVC must be completed in order to request  Curriculum Training Reimbursement  for new educators.
