New parent educators are required to complete a FVC during the first year. During the FVC, the parent education consultant observes the delivery of a family visit, consults with the parent educator; highlighting strengths, and providing suggestions for implementing the Foundational Curricula.

Foundational and Foundational 2 curriculum trainings along with the FVC must be completed in order to request  Curriculum Training Reimbursement  for new educators.
